In India, you-’d see a bunch of different skin colour and tone. We Indians are blessed to have more melanin production as it prevents from sunburns, skin rash etc. Our Indian skin falls under Type III-VI [on a scale of I to VI]. While majority of the people have wheatish skin tone, our colour spectrum stretches further on both ends of the scale of melanin production. The amount of melanin in our body classifies skin on the basis of colour constitution and result of exposure to UV radiations. Indian skin is much thicker than that of people from other regions in the world. It is more prone to tanning but less prone to getting sunburns. People who have pigmentation around their face have more melanin production. Thus, Indian skin is different from other ethnicities in the world.
